VT Tinta Fina is a wine that aims to show the most importantvarietal of La Ribera, Tinta Fina. Tinta Fina, single vineyard,
from a plot with old vines and extremely low yields per hectare,
seeking the maximum concentration and expression possible
for this varietal.
The burgundy type bottle is an entire statement of intentions,
aiming to seek the finest and freshest side of this grape.
Without forgetting that we are in Ribera and that there is power
in this regionâs wines, but they can be tamed.
The nose is full of black fruits like blackberry and blueberry,
and hints of the marmalades of both fruits, reminiscent of
cassis. The modern touch is provided by the balsamic and
fresh aromas, with hints of After Eight and slightly minty notes.
The toasted aromas are present, that remind us of coffee and
toffee. In the mouth it is powerful and structured, with a lot of
body, expanding even to the sides of the mouth. The depth is
led by acidity, essential for refreshing the powerfulness. The
acidity both prolongs the wine and makes it smoother and
calmer. The finish is warm, with a pleasant sensation of
alcohol-soaked cherries.
