This Crianza is one of the insignias of the Valtravieso brand,from which the other wines in our winery draw inspiration and
become great. Produced with a good base, solid, with fundamentals, an outstanding personality and a perfect reflection of
what Valtravieso aims to offer with its wines.
This Crianza is marvellous, starting off shy, inviting you to
swirl it around the glass, so that it will open up. The wine
needs time to reveal its true self, and I recommend that you
give it this time. After it has started to lose its shyness is when
the fruity aromas emerge, red currants and strawberries⦠and
later compotes and marmalades. Finally, the aromas from
when it was in oak barrels, spices like cloves, a slight hint of
humus and roasting, with a pleasant sensation of wood-toasted
bread. In the mouth, the freshness of its lively acidity plays the
leading role. Making it lovely and fresh and oh so drinkable!
The mouth is rounded out with fine and melted tannins, with
a precise body. A surprising relation between power and
warmth.
This Crianza is seductive by nature, knowing how to slowly
make you fall in love with it. The secret may be in the dose of
Merlot and Cabernet, making it truly sexy. I always keep a
bottle at home, as you never know who may drop in!
