Notes de dégustation de la cave de vigneron

As has been the contrast in our wines and a sure sign of quality for our reds, Almaraes layer has a pretty pronoun- ced garnet with violet tones. Clean and bright in appearance brings liveliness and elegance in the mirror.

The nose shows a medium intensi- ty, while rich in nuances with a body of black fruits such as blackcurrant or blueberry filling with roasted notes of toast and toffee typical of burning wood. With a background of vanilla and sweet spices with balsamic cinna- mon, fennel, all assembled and in per- fect harmony.

In the mouth we find a smooth entry from the first sip. With a meaty and ripe tannin that is rounded to perfection and fresh, lively acidity, producing a wine round, long and pleasant after taste, reminiscent of those black fruits with a final compotados something spicy. All this makes Almaraes a wine for any time, either to enjoy a Copco or com- plement to an excellent banquet.

Grape varieties: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon y Syrah

Aging: 12 month in french, american and hungarian oak barrels.
